My Husbands Gt Uncle Lawrence Bunting is mentioned on Bonsall war memorial. I was hoping to find mention of his death in the local papers of April and May 1918, but on inspection I have found no mention. Perhaps due to his widdowed mother having moved to live with his sister in Rossington near Doncaster. There must have been some correspondence to have his name included, does anyone have any ideas how I can find out more?

My grandfather John Bunting (born 1879 at Drumlin) migrated to Australia around 1904 together with 4 brothers - James, Samuel, Thomas & Joseph. A brother Henry migrated to the USA & the eldest brother Alexander and a sister remained in Northern Ireland in the Banbridge area.
John's father was Henry Bunting who married Isabella McKinley in the Church of Ireland at Magheralin in 1872. All records show Drumlin as their plac...
I am trying to find information on John Bunting Robinson who married Jane Spooner Oct 03 1816 at St Nicholas, Nottingham. I can't find a baptism for him any where, and he seems to have disappeared sometime after the birth of their daughter Ann in 1817. He was a waggoner by profession and they lived at Hounds Gate, St Nicholas at this time.
The marriage information I have for their marriage i...

It has happened at last! I have never had a squeak about my BUNTINGs - Richard b 1828 in Asthall being my first relative.
Last week I had a contact via Genes Reunited about FRANK BUNTING b 1895 in Golborne, Lancs, my Fourth Cousin once removed.
Margaret Simpson confirms his marriage to Lily Simpson, and details of two children born in Ulverston, Cumbria
So - it pays to be patient

In this issue we attempt to drag the Bunting Society, though not necessarily screaming and kicking, into the 21st Century with an introduction to DNA testing as a means of tracing one's ancestors - or at least those on the legitimate (literally) paternal line. David Bunton's article spells out the genetic genealogy techniques used to establish present and therefore past relationships.
Hello
I am attempting to track down some of the family history which relates to Sarah Bunting of Ireland (Ballymena area).
What I know is Sarah was born circa 1878. Married Samuel Telford (my greatgrandfather) and died in Scotland on 10 May 1920. Sarah had 5 children
What is this nursery rhyme about? Who was baby bunting supposed to be?
