Welcome kpaxasaurus,
No need to stress over your hair. Good to read that you've already adapted to the SLY attitude.
No need to let hair rule over your life. There are far too many things you encounter on a dailty basis that stress you.
Hey Francesco ...
Good choice! if you go sly you won't have to worry anymore
about losing hair (cause actually you have no hair to lose
)
and you will feel much better!
Even your parents/girlfriend that now have some concerns will
realize you feel much better and w...
You did the right thing! looks great on you.
Now that you are sly you can experiment several looks
by trying different combos with your facial hair: goatee,
chin beard, moustache and so on... being so young
it will be considered very cool!
Bye

Always fueled my grill with charcoal.
Can't throw in mesquite wood chips with propane.
Nothing beats the taste of a charcoal grilled beef burger.
My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

Hey guys I joined up a while ago after coming across the site in my attempts for a miracle cure at hair loss. Low and behold I found it. Going to be sly this weekend.
My story I guess...

A thread about Shania without at least one picture?

I've gotten the same thing before. It think it is from the rubber pad on the Fusion blade rubbing across the smooth skin on the dome.
I will admit, sometimes shaving your head can get a bit tedious, especially if you are in a hurry or get up late.
Indeed the more you shave, the better you become at it, the easier it will be for you and you will get to know and try different products to see which ones work the best for you.
Welcome to the forum mate. Hope you stick around.
All charcoal here..... natural wood charcoal, not those little briquettes! Natural wood charcoal, started in a smokestack using NO lighter fluid.
that look works for ya! as we can se on your new avatar.
looks like u were in a profsessional photostudio somehow.
My Grandfather was a Squadron Leader in the RAAF - he lived in the US for a few years back in the 60's and trained the US Airforce - somewhere in California.

I agree with Schro and SoK on the fit woman thing.

Hey right on! Life is too short to sit around and wish stuff would happen. I try to be a real go-getter in my life. Sometimes it gets me in trouble and people think I am arrogent and pushy. But only the strong survive!

But you can only choose one now....
propane is so much easier but charcoal tastes so dang good!
Also bear in mind that while this is a very big deal to you, it isn't to anybody else. No offense, but the rest of the world sees you as a bald guy already and they've seen you with a very short buzz cut. No one's going to bat an eye when you shave i...

The more you shave the easier it becomes, it is a great look for you.
Welcome and don't be afraid to shave it off. If you just don't like it, you will be grown back to a short buzz in about a week. My feeling is the same as so many that have already posted, once you do it, you will wonder why you didn't do it years ago!

I started in my 20's and wish I would have done it earlier. I think you'll be amazed at how much of a non-event it will be for others in your life.
Kid sounds like he's wise beyond his years and will probably go far in life. I can't imagine having to go through that at that age. It's probably not as bad now as it would have been when I was that age, but bald 12-year-olds are definitely not the n...

27 here bro!
I'm 27,BBC and damn proud of it(in the words of Canadian Headblader Tom).
Good for you for shaving it all off mate. Not a lot people your age would have the balls to do it.
23 here. I also had MPB that started early, I used to worry about it so much. Now I love the new look and never worry about it.

Great story. Thanks for sharing!
I can't say that i had MPB but i did shave, and i am 21
i'd like to second that last post. i'm 23, and going through mpb starting at age 18 was horrible. i spent alot of money on vitamins, shampoos, rogaine, etc. while all of my buddies had full heads of hair. it KILLED my self esteem. especially around the...

Welcome! Another Canuck is a good thing. Get a pic up once you finally go sly. You'll definitely love it, I know I did. It was one of the best things I've done and don't regret my choice and I doubt you will either.

No cancer, but what about going blind, like the reverend said you would? They still haven't solved that problem.
I'm guess wives have known about this for years. So, it's not that they don't want to have sex after their married...they're just looking out for our health by forcing us to "take care of ourselves". How sweet of them.
North, welcome to Sly Bald Guys! Glad you decided to join up!
What about guys that have sex often?
I used to do it all the time. I drove a 1980 Chevrolet Monte Carlo - the one with the long doors. I got real good with a coat hanger undoing the locks in college.

Welcome, Yak, to the BEST board on the net.
Great super bowl story, Noob. Now, aren't you glad you kept your word?

Welcome Bingo. It does get easier than that.
Unfortunately we will always have to deal with azzholes.
Great story Mike! I went to college with a guy that had Alopecia and lost all of his hair at an early age. He's one of the guys that showed me that hair is not really a big deal as women loved to rub his head.
BIOTCH is the word that comes to mind.
At first my daughter did not like the sly look. Her initial reaction - "it doesn't look as bad as I thought it would".
Now, she loves it and rubs it for good look.
I love my daughter.
See you in a year - tops. If you last that long!!!
I still get that response and still love it. And I am nearing my one year anniversary.
You bet it changed my life. Let me get rid of a lot of stress and worry about my hairloss. ONe of the best decisions I ever made.
The occasional nick is the worst for me...... my head shaving gear stays in the shower and it's off limits to the wife..... except for the HeadLube if she would like to use it...........

Hey Guy's, Thanks fo the warm welcome. It has been 10 days and i really am enjoying the slick look...i shaved it for my wife and didnt think i would keep it shaved... but i have to admit i enjoy not getting up in the morning and washing and blow drying...
better change your oil.
every once in awhile here. I think it does that to tell me I'm done
Me too, but I'm a sink shaver, and I think it's from all the "equipment" around the blade. I like it. Usually if I'm having a problem with a stubborn area, the base of my old cowlick I guess, I know it's gone when it squeaks.
I'm using the headblade sport currently - with tripleblade.
The baldes tend to lose effectiveness quite soon, but most blades fit the HB, so it's not too much of a problem getting hold of new ones.
I either use palmolive or gillette turbo gel with it.

I agree, the forum is great - it feels good to find a bunch of guys in the smae position as yourself and myself.
Yeah, the nicks. They suck. Especially around the ear. OUCH!!!
I like hairy bodies.I shave only my head, face(except the moustache of course) and the unmetionables.Thats all.
Otherwise, genetics has bestowed quite a bit of hair.I cannot imagine shaving ones complete body all the time.Yuk.

Great words. I myself and very guilty of not living by them. But I've been working on changing that.

My daughter is like that with her hand. To her, it's just normal.
yea, really great story. life should be more like that.

Ben, that sounds like a good plan. However, I'm willingly to bet you that you will be surprised on how much of a "nonevent" it is to others. You are more likely to get positive comments if anything.
The sting from that is just the small amount of alcohol that is in the sunscreen. It's probably helping by closing pores and cleaning out any nicks on the dome. The reason it's so running is because it's made up of, mostly, natural ingredients and no...

Very rarely miss a day shaving, most days I shave the head twice, once in the morning and then again in the evening.
I did try last summer on vacation to let it grow, I made it 3 days and off it came.
