Re: Ready to sly

Welcome kpaxasaurus,

No need to stress over your hair. Good to read that you've already adapted to the SLY attitude.

No need to let hair rule over your life. There are far too many things you encounter on a dailty basis that stress you.

Hey Francesco ...

Good choice! if you go sly you won't have to worry anymore

Re: ONE thing i hate about headshaving...

I will admit, sometimes shaving your head can get a bit tedious, especially if you are in a hurry or get up late.

Re: Noob

Indeed the more you shave, the better you become at it, the easier it will be for you and you will get to know and try different products to see which ones work the best for you.

Welcome to the forum mate. Hope you stick around.

I have figured that with razors and headlube, etc,i'm spending $15 a month to be sly. No haircuts once every 2 months. They were $15.So yes,a little more expensive. But no grey or white hairs,no stubble,no remarks about hair colour, and nothing to get whis...

Dove Sensitive Bar Soap & Clear Aloe Vera Gel(no alcohol)

What's up Sly Bros?  I started thinking after checking out and posting up on another thread.  I think it was the one about how much we spend now vs. when we had hair.  But I had mentioned how I use to use Dove bar soap to wash my face and head.  Plus s...

Re: Electric razor

Nothing to hate except the extra time it takes on those mornings when you are really rushed to get out of the house on time.

Re: Electric razor

I have also experienced some irritation from using an electric on in-between days. Then I bought myself a bottle of Williams Lectric Shave. Lubes the scalp a bit and allows the shaver to glide a little cutting down on the irritation. Also, somehow make...

Re: HAVE U ever locked yourself out your vehicle?

One time was all it took.  Now I have a key hidden in a nondisclosed location on my truck.  Have never used it.  I think knowing that it's there keeps the karma good.

Re: I met a Bald boy at Appleby's last night.........

That is so cool.  To him, it's just normal, no big deal.  I bet he's glad you asked about it instead of just assuming something or staring.

My daughter is like that with her hand.  To her, it's just normal.

Re: I met a Bald boy at Appleby's last night.........

Re: ONE thing i hate about headshaving...

Yeah, happened to me one day too, I let it grow for 3 days of laziness and then I was late getting up for work, and my electric died halfway through while in the shower, so I had to rummage around for blades and the only one I could find was quite dull...

I have a cousin with alopecia, lost it all at 8 years old. He is now 24.

I met a Bald boy at Appleby's last night.........

Last night i took my wife and daughter to Appleby's for dinner. Sitting a few tables away from us was a woman with a girl about ten years old and a young boy that looked to be about thirteen or fourteen years old. The boy's head was as smooth as silk.....

Re: Products????

I agree with Nomad here.  When I stop and think about it I was really spending a lot less money.  For me personally anyway because I didn't have much hair to begin with.  I always kept mine clipped down to about 1/8 or 1/4 inch with clippers.  I would ...

Have to agree with Rob, Les Mis is phenomenal, though my personal favorite is Miss Saigon.     I did get a big kick out of seeing Sweeney Todd on stage too.

Re: HeadBlade HeadWash

Re: did your life changed somehow after beeing bald?

Ben, that sounds like a good plan.  However, I'm willingly to bet you that you will be surprised on how much of a "nonevent" it is to others.   You are more likely to get positive comments if anything.

Re: Just got my 1st order form Bald Guyz...can't wait to shave

The sting from that is just the small amount of alcohol that is in the sunscreen.  It's probably helping by closing pores and cleaning out any nicks on the dome.  The reason it's so running is because it's made up of, mostly, natural ingredients and no...

Re: Just got my 1st order form Bald Guyz...can't wait to shave

Re: ONE thing i hate about headshaving...

The negative for me is I have to buy my Headblade-stuff online. There is no store here with HB-things.

J

Re: ONE thing i hate about headshaving...

The only negative for me is the price of blades... naturally that causes me to occasionally shave with a dull blade... so I guess that makes two negatives!  Grin

I'm hairy bodied except for my back, thank God.I'd rather be hairy bodied.I don't like a smooth body on a man as it seems so effeminate.Hairy is more macho.

Re: HAVE U ever done a "change-your-mind-headshave"??

Very rarely miss a day shaving, most days I shave the head twice, once in the morning and then again in the evening.

I did try last summer on vacation to let it grow, I made it 3 days and off it came.
