I try to flush it every time I top up the reservoir but this white stuff just doesn't want to stay away. The plant is not showing any bad signs yet but I'm sure it'll come soon. Is there anything I can do here? The plant is a NOID miltassia of some kind and I've only had it for a little while. I've...

Not even half an our after sitting in front of my computer I just felt this weird feeling and sudden itch to go to...
Hi, I have a new orchid room....it's 9x9x10' with 2-4', 4 bulb, high output T5 fluoresent grow lights. At 24", the heat on my leaves is approx. 87-90 degrees, so I cannot bring the bulbs any closer to the plants in order to get the footcandles I need without burning the leaves. Since I need to...

I had not have the time to take a good picture of this one during the day. So, out of frustration I tried taking the picture at night. I think the pictures came out different, but interesting. Enjoy.

These blooms took forever to open but Oh My it was worth the wait. The color in the picture is very close to the actual color and maybe it is the lime color but the fragrance is similar to fresh picked Key Limes. Thanks for looking, Cin Attachment 14655...

Don't understand the name, even though it shows red in the foto, it's almost a blue. If I wasn't so cheap, I'd buy a decent camera! lol Wish you could see the actual color. Just had to brag a little. This Blc. Little Marmaid 'Jenet' is now in full bloom with 8 glorious blooms , 4 on each spike and the sweetest light fragrance. How lucky can one be! I just received Blc. Hawaiian Leopard (Bl. Richard Mueller x Blc. Waianae Leopard). It has very nice fragance in the monring. I have the Bl. Yellow Bird (Bl. Richard Mueller x B. nodosa) since spring, and it just opened its first bud yesterday. I can tell the Yellow Bird is really liking the...
Got these 2 chids from a Box Store at 50% and 70% off. I just feel sorry for these guys for the lack of proper care when they go to those BS's. There were actually quite a few that were on their clearance rack and more to be added in a few days as soon as the blooms starts to wilt. I wish I could...
I got one of these as a bag baby more than a year ago and hung/mounted it. Last year it grew a large, large new pbulb but this Spring no spike. (Nothing all summer for that matter.) It has grown another huge bulb this summer plus is starting on a third! My question. Is there a trick to getting...
