Expert Machinist is IMHO a feeble attempt by PTC to automate our job... nice idea, but limited to simple tasks such as holes, pockets, etc. OK for a crude jobs, but that's about it.

Another thing you may want to try is to set the rotation origin of the table. Select the table then right mouse click>Set Rotation Origin and pick a corner of the table to be the fixed corner.

It sounds like your table was created as ascending if you are having to manually move it down. For a descending table to add a row select near the top border line of the cell.
