Hi canadian farmer, No, it isn't. We just went thru it and gave a new paint job with decals. I hope to get a few more years out her. I think it shines better than new though. I little hardener in paint ;-)

Nou dat zijn dan twee vernachelde John Deeres.... Ene een trike van gemaakt: wat heeft dat nou voor zin. De andere nota bene de cabine omhoog gezet voor wat grotere banden. Alsof de designers van John Deere niet weten wat de maximale banden maat hoort te zijn onder een trekker van deze pk klasse.... Probeer het maar niet uit te leggen joh.

It was a 2-150. Lots of problems. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a huge massey fan and we later sold that for a AC 440 then a JD 8200. The massey wasa 1805 with a Cat 3208.

Ik kom uit Zeewolde en mn ooms ook. @ Teletubby: I Don't have any information about the trike:-S Becouse the dealer were my uncles bought it won't give any information about it. Also we don't know where it's made. The only thing I know is that it was specialy made for one dealer called Bruinsma but that one is already gone.

The 7830 on the left (with loader) has PowerQuad, while the one on the right has the IVT transmission and is "loader ready" (Joystick, mid-mount valves).

I said left hand because i was looking at a picture from the front didn't help that it was an early morning post. I friend has a 6410 with right cab corner exhaust and loader so it will work, but i haven't looked into getting the parts. This is my New Holland TVT 170. He is made of parts from the Case cs 150 from siku, and the New Holland TSA 135 from britains. The frontaxle is made by my self. The rearhitch is made by my self too. The tires are from the Universal hobbies Fendt 818. Further I have made the details on the model.
I'm sorry for my bad english.

Steven do you really think that the introduction of moderators would mean that they take over the whole site like some sort of army that is taking over control from the sitting government? I don't think so. We all love photos and comments about farming and other stuff that's being posted here. That was, is, and allways will be the prime directive on FP. All that some members(including myself) want is getting rid of those individuals who mess up what is so dear to us. Some developements over the last few months caused by just a handfull of people suggest things will move in a direction we don't consider the right way for the future. As Bart is saying in his last post: What is this world coming to? Things change over the years and I don't like those changes either. I also wish this discussion wasn't needed, but as I stated before, the point is reached where I believe action is needed. Yet everyone is entitled to have his opinion, and if the majority thinks we don't need Mods we won't have them. In that case me and others in favor will have to settle for that. Nothing more and nothing less.

At the same time I started ploughing the field, first I made some help lines where to lift and put down the plough (also for the tanker driver to know where to start and stop).

Lucky photos don't document the smell... :))
There was quite a thick dry cover in the tank, but after half an hour this small part was the only left. The mixer does a good job to homogenize the slurry.

After ther ain we got some time to prepare one of our own fields that we planned to plant barley on. Here the sluury tanker are filled, this day towed by the 6920s. In the background the 3040 with the mixer.

Still May 2nd - after the rain there was still some water standing at the newly seeded barley - we where afraid that the soil should have been compacted of the rain so that the barley should have difficulties to come through with the first leaf, but now we see that it comes fine.

If you look at my building blog you can see that we both build a barn for cattle and a barn for straw. We have tried different machines for renewing grasslands but found out that the Väderstad Rapid seeder is the best, it has the weight to get the seed through the old grass but not to deep in the soil.

Almost all the grain in this area is bound for the export market. The elevators are all located on the Mississippi River and load the grain directly to barges where it is then shipped down river to the Gulf of Mexico where it is loaded on ships and sent around the world. There is an Ethanol plant being built about 80 miles north of us. It is supposed to be operational in August. They will be using corn as the main feedstock but right now I don't plan on selling any corn there. Maybe in the future if the price is right.
