This may be a 'duh' question but.... I know that northern Africa is French and Arabic and Angola and Mozambique are Portuguese and South Africa is English. What do the rest of the countries speak? Is there one major dialect that is spoken? If I spoke Spanish, English, Portuguese, and French Could I talk to everyone? (except Arabic). Hi, My husband would like to snowboard in Spain this winter and I would go along, altough I don't ski. Extremely last minute, I'm pondering flying over to London to catch a concert by a favorite artist. The problem is, it's in the southwestern suburb of East Twickenham, and I'm afraid I'd miss the last tube/train after the show (I know the artist personally, so would want to linger and chat), so ideally I'd have accommodation reasonably close by.
