England agree to Tests in Chennai, Mohali

The two-Test series between India and England has been rescheduled and will be played at Chennai (December 11-15) and Mohali (December 19-23), the Board of Control for Cricket in India said on Monday. BCCI secretary N Srinivasan said England have agreed to resume their tour of India that was halted after the first five ODIs were completed following the terror attacks in Mumbai.

Bangladesh's Razzak suspended for illegal bowling action

Bangladesh's Abdur Razzak has been suspended from bowling in international cricket, pending fresh assessment of his action by the International Cricket Council. Razzak was reported for suspected illegal action, exceeding the 15-degree permitted under ICC regulations, by on-field umpires Daryl Harper and Asoka de Silva after the second Test between Bangladesh and New Zealand in Dhaka on October 29.

Swann too reluctant to tour India

After Steve Harmison and Andrew Flintoff, England spinner Graeme Swann too has developed cold feet and is reluctant to tour India following the terror strikes in Mumbai. Swann said though he has full faith on security adviser Reg Dickason, who is yet to give a go-ahead to the tour, he is not particularly keen on returning to India for the two-match Test series.

England's cricketers were guilty of employing double-standards for quitting their tour of India because of security fears, former Pakistan coach Geoff Lawson said on Monday.

Former PCB chief Shaharyar Khan feels if Pakistani cricketers could brave threats during their 1999 tour of India, Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his men can also do the same and come for the Test and ODI series in Karachi next year.
