Unfortunatly I know how u feel. Just 3 weeks ago I had my car broken into.I had my brand new glx and ang spec, Sims g3 waders, g3 coat, g3 boots'my chest pouch fully loaded and my spare rod and reel all stolen I seriously cried in the parking lot. I couldn't believe that happend to me.believe it or not I got my glx and ang spec back the cops found it on the side of the road. A little scapped up but I didn't care. I was happy just to get my baby back. But every thing else was a total loss.not that its gona make you feel Bette to say I know how u feel but I realy do and I hope you get you're reel back

I too had some good memories with that reel. I certainly hope it ends up back in your hands James... |

Go to the Skeena system, anything else will have you PO'ed at the crappy steelheading we have now.
September 15 to October 1st is ideal to avoid the massive rains that can put all rivers out.
It is pretty much all bait ban, so stick to pink worms and Jigs and you will slay, spoons and spinners are good too if you have them dialed.
I am guessing you are looking for Steelhead and not salmon??.
Pm me and I can get a little more specific, not too mention I can twist you up some killer proven BC steelhead jigs on hooks that will actually hold your trophy of a lifetime.
Good luck.

It won't need to be sandblasted either way.
The anodizing process starts with a cleaning bath and then etching then desmutting. By the time these three processes are complete the old anodizing will be gone and you will have bare aluminum that is ready to be reanodized, dyed and sealed.

A lot of the silver Stantons were non anodized. So you might not have to sandblast the reel. I had success previously anodizing one a deep copper colour, there's a post from a while somewhere in the archives.... Good luck.

I just received notification from KW Engineering that their new website will be up and running by 23/05/08. Factory direct ordering will be available, for both series of reels, and all colour combinations that were shown in the link below.
http://visionphoto.co.uk/clients/KWE02/
I will post the link when available.
Also, a solution for left handed users will be incorporated for all orders from the website, in the future.
For any of those folks who have bought the new 4 7/8" reels, a left handed, threaded spindle and nut, will be made available, upon request.
To save two-way shipping costs, it can be user-installed.
From my perspective, these reels, and the fact that they can be custom ordered with your choice of style,(series 1 or 2) colour, insert/backplate colour, ABEC 5 bearings, ported or non ported, left or right hand retrieve, make them the next generation, totally unique, centre-pin reel on the market.

| Hey Guys. I am thinking about having my stanton sandblasted and anodized. According to the anodizer I need to know the exact aluminum the reel is made of or the reel could get ruined. Does anyone know what aluminum is used? Thanks.
