The first ever VEEN Art -exhibition was a huge success. It displayed 40 paintings by Antti Eklund, the designer of the award winning VEEN Wave 66 bottle. The paintings revolve around VEEN and borrow themes from well-known pieces. The exhibition “Recycled masterpieces and 15 minute originals” raised a positive interest among the visitors and 10.000 euros for the northern children.
Bottled water sales in East Europe increased by more than 10% during 2007 to 13.2 billion litres, according to the latest report from global drinks consultancy Zenith International. The market's value rose an even faster 17% to €5 billion, nearly twice the level of 2000. Continued growth is expected, as many countries still have consumption rates well below West Europe.
Bottled water exports from Hawaii increased 4.5% in the first half of 2008. A Hawaii Foreign Trade Zone report shows exports of bottled water reached 40.5 million tonnes for the first six months of 2008, compared with 38.7 million tonnes in the same period a year ago.
FIJI Water announced today that the company has launched its official website for Taiwan, www.fijiwater.com.tw. The website will answer consumer questions about the differences between water sources, such as natural artesian water, spring water and purify water.
