Adobe Dreamweaver CS4 Classroom in a Book contains 11 lessons. Adobe Labs has posted the Pixel Bender Toolkit and the Pixel Bender Plugin for Photoshop CS4. Here's a quick overview of Pixel Bender from the Labs site: The Adobe Pixel Bender technology delivers a common image and video processing infrastructure which provides automatic runtime optimization on heterogeneous hardware. You can use the Pixel Bender kernel language to implement image processing algorithms (filters or effects) in a hardware-independent manner. The Pixel Bender graph language is an XML-based language for combining individual pixel-processing operations (kernels) into more complex Pixel Bender filters. This is a single stock image of a digital camouflage pattern. The image is entirely seamless. This tileable texture is 600 x 600 pixels. Since stock images are less easily made into “sets” (well, sometimes), I’ll be adding single stock images like this from time to time.
