ENPPI, GASCO and Invensys sign multimillion dollar deal in joint venture

Invensys to train 500 Egyptian engineers in its Cairo Engineering Excellence Centre London and Cairo – 29 June 2008 - Ulf Henriksson, Chief Executive Officer of Invensys plc, visited Cairo today to finalise a joint venture between Invensys Process Systems (IPS), ENPPI and GASCO that will train hundreds of Egyptian engineers and establish Egypt’s first Industrial Automation Engineering Centre of Excellence. The joint venture will play a significant role in the modernisation of the Egyptian petroleum industry, helping Egypt increase refinery utilization, maximise productivity and minimise maintenance costs.

University of Surrey awards honorary doctorate to Jimmy Page

Second generation DMC satellites set sights on GMES SSTL’s privately funded UK-DMC-2 has today passed its Test Readiness Review (TRR) at its Manufacturing Integration and Test Facilities in Guildford, UK.
