Food prices to stay high for 2-3 years

High global food prices are likely to stay high for two to three years while the world replenishes food stocks, reported Reuters, citing a report by the US Council of Economic Advisors. Jordan raises fuel prices again

Jordan raised fuel prices on Monday for the eighth time in two years as part of a state plan to phase out subsidies, reported AP. The government increased the price of unleaded gasoline by 5.7% to 0.740 Jordanian Dinars ($1.03) per litre. Heating fuel and kerosene for household use jumped by 5% to JD 0.630 ($0.88) per litre, while the price of cooking gas remained unchanged.

DME plans gold futures
