This is the Hebrew translation of "Octo-Pus the Cuttlefish and
Crab-Mac-Claw the Crab".
The Hebrew translation is done by Yochanan Dvir, who lives in the kibitz Lehavot Habashan in Northern Israel near the Lebanese border.
Yochanan Dvir translates the fairy tales and put them on his own site in Hebrew http://www.sefer-li.net/.

The Baby Carriage
and
Sleep-Sheep

In 1950 Pablo Picasso made the She-Goat in bronze. She passed by and looked into the baby carriage. The She-Goat laughed. What might be in the baby carriage when it was not a baby?

Might it be one of the happy ghosts from the huge Pantheon Church? No, they could not stay that calm.





A Bedouin from Arabia was sure it was a snake.





The Bedouin's camel and dromedary talked about it, and they were sure it was a snake, too.





However, a snake would have made some noise. Rattling or so.





The Bedouin took a closer look. A pair of legs? He laughed.

 

 

Sleep-Sheep has this rug with 80 pictures of himself. When he has counted 57 of them he falls asleep anywhere. Even in a baby carriage.

Un beduino del deserto era sicuro che ci fosse un serpente.





Il cammello e il dromedario del beduino ne parlarono, e anche loro erano sicuri che ci fosse un serpente.





Ma un serpente avrebbe fatto qualche rumore. Almeno un sibilo.





Il beduino diede un'occhiata da vicino. Un paio di zampe? Il beduino sorrise.



Un paio di zampe di pecora. La Pecora Dormigliona indossò la sua lana.



Ecco la Pecora Dormigliona in Piazza della Rotonda nel centro di Roma. Si è appena svegliata dal sonnellino numero 7 della mattina.



La Pecora Dormigliona ha questo tappeto con 64 immagini di se stessa. Quando arriva alla numero 57, smette di contare e si addormenta ovunque. Anche nella carrozzina di un bambino.
